IOCA (UK) British Open and National Optimist Championships 2024

IOCA UK British National & Open Championships 2024

The event will open on Saturday 3 August with Registration in the afternoon and racing on Sunday 4th through to Thursday 8th August. There will be a sailors' party on the Thursday evening, with Friday being the departure day.

The information on all the fleets is detrailed in the NOR. 

Main Fleet age information 

Main Fleet entries will be divided into Senior and Junior Fleets by age, with those of Optimist age 13, 14 and 15 years (born in 2011, 2010 or 2009 respectively) racing in the Senior Fleet, while younger entries shall race in the Junior Fleet. 

Opimist age is the age a sailor will be by 31 December 2024.

International Sailors entry

International sailors must be a current member of their home National Optimist organisation. When entering the IOCA Nationals 24, select 'International' entry.
